Food is amazing. I'm sad to say Papa no longer owns this and have not seen him there in months. I assume he has moved on with his life. However, it was left in good hands with a lovely lady who is equally friendly. The place did get a renovation, but I think it looks great. They accept debit cards now and unfortunately force a gratuity fee of 15% after a certain number of party members. I believe it's after 6 people. Best Thai food in LA hands down.

Ever since I was 3 years old I've been coming here I am now 27. This place although is a small whole in the wall. Believe me when I say by far the best Thai food restaurant in Los Angeles. If you are looking for that home feel cooking this is the place to be. Papa treated everyone like family. Recently I think that papa has sold his business to this new lady Extremely sweet even offered free ice cream desserts to our party. Although I think that I will never see Papa again our new journey with Mama begins. Papa Food/Restaurant experience was the first half of my life. Mama's is now starting the second journey of our Food/restaurant experience.

I love this restaurant. The food are so great. I would recommend Tom kha, tom yum, yellow curry (since i do not eat that much spicy so this curry suits me best), grilled duck, their brown rice is very good also. For desert, sweet rice with ice cream is something nice to try. However, the place is a little bit small so if you come with lots of friends, better to make a reservation.
